Patisserie Viennoise early morning
Waiting to try out the famous hot chocolate.
Small petite shop, I think the bakery is underneath, seen through the ventilation fan.
The pastries available, no english translation, so go with gut feel.
Cakes and buns.
Once ordered, we settled down at a corner of the shop.
Very old feel at the shop.
Shortly after, the food was served.
Prune puff
Croissant is a must.
This is really hard biscuit, probably to go with the hot chocolate
The famous hot chocolate. A top layer of chocolate cream.
Also a cup of tea.
The prune puff attacked!
Overall, the breakfast is not bad, but the hot chocolate wasn't up to our expectation, probably we hoped for really rich hot chocolate. The prune puff and croissant are ok, but not perfect. After the breakfast, we headed for the Lourve and also the arch.
At the metro station
Probably too early, not many people yet.
We headed to Concorde station to walk through Jardines des Tuilleries
