Paris - Day 3 - Part 3 - Fontaine de Medici & Cafe Les Deus Magot

The fountain of Medici was built by Marie de Medici of the famous Medici family in Florence, and moved to the Luxembourg gardens during 1864.

The fountain of Medici information

At the far end the fountain of Medici

With the sun finally out, more and more people flock to the gardens for jogging.

Favourite jogging area for the Parisian joggers.

Surrounded by nice vegetation and trails.

Another view of the Luxembourg Palace.

One could just sit and enjoy the scenery, Paris during autumn.

Nice statue and nice weather

The trees are somehow aligned properly, neat and nice.

The autumn sun.

Autumn leaves

The walkway in Luxembourg gardens.

A cafe at Luxembourg gardens

After lingering around the Luxembourg gardens, it is time to go for other venues or maybe catch a late lunch

The travel plans.

Walk from the Luxembourg gardens to famous cafe at the 6th arrondissement and venture around.

Leaving the French senat.

Palace of Luxembourg and the French Senate.

Outside of the gardens, very nice day.

Nice day to be riding a bicycle too.

At the Rue de Tournon, nice Parisian buildings.

Another unique Parisian building

Chocolate shop very near to the market.

Very short walk on Rue Lobineau, we finally reached the market.

Such colorful produce, nice.

Seafood anyone ? Is that sea urchins by the side ?

The locals are shopping too.

The market at Rue Lobineau.

Flowers for sale too, very clean environment

We then went for a very different shopping, skincare products, a favourite among the ladies.

Branded goods outlet too.

Affordable skincare products available at City Pharma.

Right opposite the City Pharma, the famous cafes 'Les Deux Margots' and 'Cafe de Flora'

Not forgetting the also famous 'Emporio Armani' cafe

Cafe de Flore quite packed outside, Parisian favourite spot.

The same with 'Les Deux Margots', both very famous cafe.

We decided to try out 'Les Deux Margots' as the tables inside are still quite vacant.

Very classic feel to it.

Tables are neatly decorated. Very formal looking waiter too.

Interior is also very nicely decorated.

Not that crowded inside.

Ordered sandwiches and apple juice

Bacons with 2 sunny side up eggs.

Comes with some baguette.

These seems to be out of place.

The sandwiches and bacons with eggs are good.

Nice ornaments at the cafe.

Other ornaments in display too

Are those really cameras ?

After some rest for the legs, we moved out to explore.

A church at Saint Germain des Pres.

Another shot of the church.

This is indeed one of the best day in Paris.Lots of sun shine, blue skys.Stay tuned for more.
